"OUTTA MY HEAD – PART 6” consists of three one-act plays written and directed by awarding winning playwright Eugene H. Butler and runs, March 20th through May 2nd 2015 on Friday and Saturday nights, 8pm. Tickets are $20.00 with senior and industry discounts available. Box office 818-709-3530. The one-acts consist of RUBY’S RIDDLE, a period drama which takes place on the terrace of a New York City penthouse in 1937 and stars Robert Romano (Fast Times At Ridgemont High) and Deborah Geffner (Scandal, All That Jazz).TEN SECONDS, a contemporary comedy/drama which takes place in a bar in rural Georgia and stars Michael Cavanaugh (The Young and The Restless, 24), Cameron Dye (Valley Girl, Switched At Birth), Greg Gast and Emily Hardy. THE INTERVIEW, a comedy which takes place in a Hollywood Casting office and starts, Laura Baggett, Virginia Novello, Larry Lederman and Greg Gast.

TEN SECONDS It’s 8:30 on a weekday morning in Founders Square, Georgia. At the local watering hole, the Floodlight Bar & Grill, Donnie Nesmith and Ray Ray Hatfield, two work-shy regulars, are already a pitcher full of beer into a typical day. A typical day that suddenly turns into an extraordinary Ten Seconds when a well-dressed stranger steps into the room. A stranger who speaks in metaphorical jargon and poetic phrases…and claims to be a “Buyer of time.”

THE INTERVIEW Darlene Doris is an aspiring young actress who has studied the important pages of the pamphlets written by acting gurus like Strasberg, Meisner and Adler. With her five year old airbrushed headshots and new polka dot dress high-heels, she’s managed to wiggle her way into an audition for director Biff Landers latest low budget movie ‘Above The Belt, Below The Border’, and she intends to show the world how style is far more important than substance.

RUBY’S RIDDLE The outdoor terrace of an affluent penthouse in New York City. The year is 1937. The wealthy, fiftyish socialite, Christina Morton, finds herself at yet another one of the endless charity events she seems destined to attend for the rest of her life. With a martini in one hand, a cigarette in the other, she seeks the solitude of the empty terrace, where she can “drink alone” while contemplating the thoughts of “to jump, or not to jump”. Her private retreat is invaded when a Man, wearing an ill-fitting, rented tuxedo, steps out onto the patio and challenges her to solve a riddle that’s he been in the process of trying to solve for the past 45 years.
