About Audrey Singer
Born in the Bronx, and
born to act, Audrey Marlyn Singer started singing and dancing
at the age of six. She also got an early professional start
when her father, Vaudeville entertainer Charlie King who was
known as a comedian, whistler, singer, and strong man, let her
join his act at the age of fourteen. Ignited by her passion
for show business, Ms. Singer quickly found her way to
Broadway where she debuted in the musical "Crocodile Island."
Married at seventeen, she and her husband, Mike, went West on
their honeymoon, and made Los Angeles their new home. Ms.
Singer continued her career, appearing in theatre, film, and
